I have a 2000 Searay 180 BR I/O, just put in a new battery and when I turn the key I hear a click but the starter doesn't start, turn it on and off a few times then it turns over and starts, plus the power trim switches may not work the first couple of times I hit them, then the down trim works and up won't and the trailering button won't work, then I press it a few times and then finally the stern drive then starts to move up into the trailering position, is this a bad solenoid or should I try cleaning all my connections?

Start with the connections,at the starter, grounds to the block,at the battery, slave solenoid, and everything else you can see. If that don't help, let us know.
Did the trim and start begin acting up at the same time?? Then I would suspect connections, simply tightening them never helps, they need to be cleaned thoughrly.

You have some corroded or loose connections so start with the battery terminals. Looking at them is not a check. Disconnect the cables, clean them shiny bright and then reconnect them. And remember that battery have two ends. Doing one end does no good if the other end is the problem. And make sure you observe polarity when reconnecting the cables. I think there were three or four of these "I reversed the connections" issues in the last couple of days. There is a + and - designator on the battery for a reason. Because multiple systems experience the same problem, battery cables and grounds are the likely problem.
