Hull was manufactured in 1974 by Delco Fiberglass Products. 16 ft with 70 hp Johnson, Looks much like the Baja ss16 but it’s not.

What does the title or registration documents say? What are the 1st letters of the HIN?

Delco was a boat producer in Texas. They've been out of business since the 80s. Probably not much out there on the boat - it was one of a bunch of boat builders that had a short run in the 70s and 80s.

Welcome aboard.

That's what I got doing a MIC search. Nothing at Fiberglassics, either.

Posting a pic or two might trigger some memories of members, but it doesn't look like Delco had much presence out in the marketplace.

Photo Tutorial HERE - you needed three posts in order to put photos up. You've got 'em now :thumb:

Interesting but it looks darn close to the Sidewinder Cobra I am restoring but yours is missing the wrap around windshield. Do an image search on google for 16' sidewinder cobra boat and it was manufactured under MANY names and companies

Bob_VT I did look at the sidewinder and they’re very similar as is the Baja 16ss only the slightest variation between all 3 apparently in 74 there wasn’t many differences between manufacturers.

The HIN looks like ZTH151130176, but it is quite faint and I'm not 100% sure. Still looking for any suggestions on how to fix it. Thanks all.
