I can't get to the pics, but from the name, I'm not sure it's a ski engine.... Those were used a bunch in ultralights and snowmobiles...

did some searching.

Cuyuna did make (or still does) make ultralight aircraft engines.

the large red exhaust pipe is indicative of a PWC engine. I've never seen a snowmobile engine, so I can't comment on that.

Cuyuna engines were found in some WetJet PWC's in the late 80's - the "Faze III" is one photo I found

some clearer photos (with a camera, not a camera phone) would help. Also, take a pic of the exhaust pipe as it has a manufacturer's name on it too.
