I have an 88 4winns horizon 200 with a cobra outdrive.....what oil do you guys use/recommend?? Id prefer a synthetic lube. The manual is 20 years old, im sure theres some newer, better stuff outthere than what the manual says!!!
Be careful switching lubes, some new lubes do not like to mix with the old style lube and it will be real difficult to get it all out of the drive when changing. If this is the case here you would have a catastrophic failure. Do plenty of research before you do this.
I was not sure if it would be a problem or not, I still see it on rare occasions in heavy truck rears. LubeDude says you are good then go for it, glad he came by when he did.
