looking at a 1976 cobolt boat with a 235 engine i have had a cobra but this is different outdrive is white on the left side there is a half moon gear with teeth that goes up in a square housing with brass gears has a fill plug but you can look through the rear and see gear anyone have any pictures it was tilting down but wouldent lift then smoke out of trim motor he also said there was a leak in read somewhere transom seems solid help
