what price should i sell my 1962 evinrude lark IV for?

runs well and i have the original controls for it so what should i start at and whats the lowest i should go

List it for $750. If no hits, drop it a bit. Take anything over $400.

Prices vary by location, so there's no way for us to tell...unless we live in your market. Do a survey...see if you can find comparables for sale in your area...compare condition, etc. and adjust your starting price based on that. In the end, it's only worth what the other guy is willing to pay on sale day.

Put it on craigslist. It's not eating or drinking anything in your garage....so there's no sense to price it low unless you don't care what you get for it.

I see lots of craigslist ads that say something to the effect of "I need this thing gone" etc etc....almost guarantees that they're going to be lowballed by buyers.

I would expect it would sell for between $250-$400 in my area, according to condition, and whether or not you would offer a lake test. Without a lake test, I honestly think it's worth about $100-$200, but you may get more. It's not the most beautiful motor, either....
