What prop do I need

I have just purchased our first boat. It is a 1974 Glastron V-174 Bayflite I/O.
I am looking for a new prop but I am not sure what to get.
The prop that is on there has the #48-58426A4 23P stamped on it.
The local marine told me to change to a 19 degree pitch.
I am not sure which prop will fit my stern drive. Are the splines different sizes?

Welcome to Iboat, hope it is a good experience for you like it has for me. About the prop question, there are several bits of information everyone will need to try and assist you. First off how do you use the boat? What does it preform like now? Wide open throttle rpm, inital take off, top speed? All these will help to define what prop will help you best.
After that get a deal from the supplier that you may try it and exchange till you get the exact right combo for nothing more than freight charges.
