Well it sounds like the motor is performing at or near the recommended rpm's, so unless you are trying to change some performance characteristic, why change it? You could try several props of varying diameter and pitch and achieve some different results, but from the info you provided it sounds like you are in the ballpark.
18'20 Robalo cc with a 150 mercury black max what would be the best pitched prop to put on this boat for the best performance. I have a 17 pitch on it now and at 5500 rpm is at 36mph. I have a dolphin on it and no jackplate
