I have a pre alpha matched to a 4 cylinder mecruiser 3.0L running on a 1973 18 ft Reinell closed bow. I was just wondering what would be the best prop for pulling tubes knee boards and skis. I mainly run on the IL river so I am going to be sticking with the aluminum prop. Any advise would be great.

Without knowing What Prop you've tried,+ the Results of running that Prop,..........

Your Question is Unanswerable.......

But,....... I'll give you a "Guess"........

Try a 19"..........Then check the rpms,+ decide if it's Too Big,... or to Small.......

I run an 18 foot bow rider with a 3 liter as well.
I run a Turning Point "Hustler" prop. (ALUM).
14.25 X 21 pitch .4700 RPM @ WOT...perfect!
We pull tubes and cruise mostly.
I cannot get this prop to cavitate/disappoint me.
Hole shot is great , pulls tubes with ease.
I too run the Illinois(Morris) as well.
