That all depends on the boat its on and how you plan to use it, so more info is needed before a suggestion is made. Even after that the suggestion will only really be a starting point, more testing will need to be done to fine tune it.

I don't even know where to start. Right now I'm running the 10x15 that came on the motor.

i think he was asking what do u plan on using it for, like is it on a 30ft pontoon, or a 12ft john boat, are you looking to run wot mostly, or idleing a lot
do you want it to be set for optima speed or quick on plane?

theirs a clicky on this site somewhere that tells you what the pitch/size and other crap means, ill find it and post it here

-----------------------------------------------------
found it
clicky clicky
thats link for 1st page other clickys about pitch and other at bottom left of that page

I want to be able to get up on plane quick and be quick (or relatively quick). I don't troll much, just go from place to place and don't want it take all day. I have a 16ft Crestliner with a 94' 30hp Evinrude. I don't have electric trim either. So right now with me and a buddy sitting in back, it plows for a long time before getting up to speed.

Drop down your pitch will get you on plane faster also make sure you have the motor hung right on the boat. Tuck it in a little will also help keep the bow down. Don't drop to low on pitch you can go over engine rpm's try around a 13 pitch this should raise rpms up about 300 to 400 and get you going out of to hole faster but you will lose top end speed.

Would I even be able to tell a difference with a 14 pitch?

Re: What prop size should I be using?

unless you have a Tachometer set up on your boat...

you really cant dial in what prop is best...

and you risk running your motor in the wrong range , which could prematurely wear out your motor.

generally once a prop that has been on the boat is tried , you can start to make choices on what to try next.

is your Crestliner a flate bottom row boat?
a Mod V jon?
or a deep V runabout?

does it have flooring and lives wells and multiple batteries and a large gas tank????

or is it a utility style???

I had a 10x13 on my Sea Nymph bass hunter....it was sluggish....hard to get to plane and did not get WOT rpms...its a 35hp also....I went down to a 11x9 prop ..I get right on plane now and WOT rpm's is 5600....my boat is heavy also..3 31 group batteries....lot of gear...20 gallons of fuel....trolling motor....I also put a tilt and Trim jack Plate on..best money spent...

with this prop I get 22 mph on GPS.....the 10x13 I got 16 tops....was weird...

Yeah I'm definately going to put a tach in ASAP. At what range should my motor be running at WOT?

Ok, don't laugh too hard....what's the difference between a flat bottom row and a mod v? It's pretty flat on bottom. It's a 2002 with a side console.

It has 3/4 inch plywood for decking, trolling motor, 12 gallon fuel cell, and only one battery. Other than that, there's not much more to it.

Right now it's running about 22-23mph on GPS, but it seems like it's not coming to top RPM's at WOT.

well I dont know off the top of my head about 30 hps....but i am THINKING almost all the motors are 4500 and up...with 5500 usually a common number...but it is a RANGE...but the higher in the range the better I say.

mod V's have from a 3 degree hull up to as much as 15 degree hull angle

flats...are well flat!!

the smaller the hull angle( also called DEAD RISE) the easier for any motor to get the boat on plane.

Before changing or deciding on a prop change you should make sure you have the optimum set up for your outfit. Load distribution of gear and people, motor height, trim etc all play an important part. That and making sure the motor is in top condition.
My 2 cents.

in this picture you can see the row of holes at the base of the transom bracket..a long pin with a lever built into the end to prevent it from coming out, goes into one of those holes.

which hole depends on the performance being realize on the boat...

I would suggest you try your pin in the hole closest to the transom, to start..

if that improves your holeshot and time to get on plane... it would help along with your RPM readings in determining what prop pitch you need.

and remember if you load that boat up with all your gear and buddies the prop you need will be different than the one you try in the summer with no gear and just yourself in the boat.
