What props fit a honda BF90A

Can anyone tell me what props fit the Honda BF 90A? Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, Johnson/Evinrude etc. do I need different spacers/ thrust washers? Thanks

Most props are produced these days are made to accept a replaceable hub system. When you order the prop you order the hub kit. It comes with the correct mounting hardware. Once you have a kit you can put it different props as long as they are square bore props.

I am looking at buying a second hand props as there are many out there. I saw in a review that the Honda prop is average in performance but mercury props fit the Honda. Are there any others outboard manufacturers props that fit and do they fit directly on or do I need to buy/ change thrust washers?

As we are just average boaters helping other boaters we aren't likely to have that info unless
we personally have delt with it.I would suggest you pick a honda prop to fit your motor here at boats.
note the numbers and then see what other motor brands have the same numbers or hub numbers.
You do realize that there are probably a number of companies that make all makes of outboard props.
So there could be any number of used props that fit Honda and are made by independent prop companies.
I don't think the base props from any outboard company are particularly impressive. I'll bet Honda has high end props available if you have the dough.
Did a very brief search here for Honda BF 90 and similar year 2001 0n motors.
Near as I can tell Merc and Mariner are the same number for 17" Solas Amita 1411-133-17 used the same 17" prop number.Looked up Honda BF90 props in 17" there were 20 distinct props from by 6 companies.Any number of these could turn up used on Craigs lists ,a swap sheet or ebay.
Then there are the companies that use exchangeable hubs.

Ok so a Merc/Mariner prop looks like it will fit straight on?
I presently have a D4 X 12.75 x 17 and she pulls out the hole good, but I think at the top end she revving up to a top its speed (just over 40mph) and then the revs continue rising without any substantial gain in speed. I am used to 2 strokes, this is my first 4 stroke and it just feels like it could benifit from a bigger prop?? any suggestions or help would be great. Thanks for the advice so far.
