What should a looper reg./rect. look like?

I posted this seperate to get some info.


Can someone tell me if it is supposed to look like it's filled with rock salt? Mine does.

Or, is it supposed to look more like the gel in a power pack?

Go to BRP's website and look at the parts list for your motor, and no, it shouldn't look like it's filled with rock salt!

Mine (1985 140 looper)-looks like a flat black box with angular corners-
approx.8 wires or so coming out of it. Replaced it 5 years ago and that is what I somewhat remember. If I recall properly- around $80.
