I have a 71 50hp johnson just took off carbs and cleaned them. Ran it for a while and pulled plugs both came out moist.<br />I'm wondering what the plugs should look like when the engine is running properly
Depending on the overall speed that you operate the engine at either slightly damp as you describe or if operating at continuous high speed operation about the shade of a paper bag.If you tend to troll for extended periods they will appear wetter.
