What size cable for Pulley type steering ??

OK i should have saved the old cable and took pics.... I had more time 2 yrs ago. Thought hey a new baby shoudent take that much of my time... Yea right.

I took the cable off our sport lido and im not shure what size to use ? Is there a standed size ?

Also i dont have a cluse to as where the springs went to or if id even had them ... Where can i get a set ?

probably 3/32" - 3/16" Vinyl coated stuff will do. Home depot.

Springs are necessary to keep the cable from popping off.

I should post a pic of the steering drum. Its 2 seperate areas on it im not shure how it would string out. Guess ill just have to try it out.

The diagrams are somewhere in the posts that I gave links to.
One side gets wound clockwise and the other gets wound the opposite way.
I do mine immediately after removing the old one or I'd be lost after a couple of hours. Or a couple of beers.
Mine are due for changing very soon....
