What size fuel line under engine cover? Also will vw beetle fuel filter be ok?

5/16ths or 3/8s fuel line, i have local houseofhose will any fuel line work.

Replace with the size that was on it. It has to fit on the existing fittings.

Thanks yes i just didnt want to get fuel on me lol. I just noticed fuel under the carb where choke hooks up bottom. I turned the screw a little still has green liquid. Humm
