I have a fuse box with 4 positions/fuses. i need to know what size fuse goes in each because they have been shuffled around. they are for Nav lights, bilge, blower and ingnition and radio. how do I fin dout the sizes for each?
Fuse size has to be matched to wire gauge. Do a search on this Forum for "fuse size" and you'll find a number of references showing wire gauge and corresponding fuse size. Then you'll have to figure out the gauge of each of your wires
NAV lights = 7.5 amp. Bilge pump = 7.5 or 10 amp. Blower = 10 - 15 amp. (Best look for the current draw label on the blower). Since you have a blower, you apparently have an I/O. Odd you should have an IGNITION fuse since that circuitry is normally protected by fuses and breakers in the engine bay.
