What size motor does this serial number belong to?

~~Can anyone tell me what size engine belongs to this serial number? I know it's a 1977 model year, and I think it's an 85hp but not100 percent sure. 7098467. It's a Canadian number.

I thought that too but if you look at the 1977 85hp, you will see similar numbers. This motor I'm looking at has no cowling or engine. It's just a midsection and lower unit. I'm looking to buy it for a lower unit for my 85 but it's a two hour drive from here. And buddy doesn't know anything about it, I'm not sure why.

It's not a 70hp. The bottom cowl isn't square. They had their own style.

It gets very confusing when the ending number isn't shown for the Canadian models. :facepalm:
