I have a 73 thundercraft magnum 160 with a Johnson outboard.
Model # 60ESL-70D
Serial# J3318104
Boat is 15.7 feet
Weight unknown
Lost prop in lake new to boating would love to find out what prop i need.
I do know it had a 3 blade alum. prop on it ?
It had troble getting up on a plane (almost like it was not at a high enough RPM. Motor was quite with very little strain.)

The motor came with a 14 X 19 prop. The final selection would depend on the application. Without more info my guess is to try a 17" pitch 4 blade by Solas Amita.
The 4 blade will get up better and the drop to 17 will give you some rpm.
Just be aware without the info you need to watch the rpm and let us know the rpm and speed if possible.

Thanks . I spoke with the guy i got the boat from he says it had a 13 3/4 x 15 3 blade on the boat but it always had trouble getting on a plane. I bought the boat just totake the kids out on. I wont be tubing or skiing so just a general transportation and crusing across the lake when we go camping.

the 15 in a 4 blade will get up better.Don't worry about the diameter a 15 for your motor will be the right diameter.
