I have a 1984 245 tournament Grady White with twin 1996 225 Johnson Oceanrunners, the propellers are 14.5X19 at full throttle it is 4200 rpm! I know this is not right, the motors run good. The max rpm should be around 5800. Slow out of the hole fast at the top. I have talked to a few people about this and they said, use 14.5x15 or15x15 which would get me around 800 more rpm. Would 5000 max rpm be good enough?
