On my 2000 Bayliner 1802 Capri Cuddy, I occasionally ran a MinnKota Endura 55lb trust 42" shaft. I used a Grp 29 battery to run it. It did a OK job. If your looking for a AUX motor, I would forget about it and look for a 9-15hp Kicker instead.

@fishin98 Thanks. I have a Mercury 110 that I am trying to get running but doesnt seem to want to start on the first couple of pulls. More like a 100 so I was thinking maybe I could use one of these for trolling instead of my 6 cyl. Trolling for strippers and I think my 6 cyl is trolling to fast to catch the fish. Did you use the MinnKota for fishing?

I used for fishing on smaller lakes here in Fla...this is what I used for fishing for Walleyes and Stripers in TN. 2007 Merc 5hp 4str long shaft. I just removed the 5hp and mounted the MinnKota on the same bracket when fishin small lakes.

Nice setup I see your steering arm attached to it also. Nice! I have a Mercury 110 9.8 on a stand outback that I can not get to run. I am not a mechanic at all but 2 strokes seem easy to work on. The hard part is finding whats wrong. This 9.8 i have compression is reading 60 psi both cyl and i was wondering is this ok for a pull start?
