What switch do I need

Heres what I would like to do

I have installed LED lights in my boat I would like ti use only one switch to control all four lights. What I would like to do is turn the forward two light on or the aft two light and then all four light at the same time. What kind of switch can do what I need them to do??????????

If you are looking for a toggle switch arrangement, its not going to happen. You could do it with a rotary switch but may have to use diodes depending on the switch.

Sounds like essentially the same functionality as the rocker switch that controls running lights. Am I oversimplifying?

Except he needs 3 positions plus off. If it was one set of lights or both sets of lights, that would be easy.

Put half the lights on one switch and the others on a second switch. You now have three functions. Either, both, or OFF. Siimple and cheap.
