what throttle control?

Ok i have a 95 skeeter.....i bought a 88 model 125 force to go on it.the motor came with cables,which merc throttle box could i use with the force cables?i was told i needed a gen 1 merc throttle box.

No the Merc won't work on the older 88.
The 2. I listed with the e-bay #s will work.
Not sure of the cable length but the old ones will have it stamped on it somewhere.
Just don't get the cables too short.BAD!!
Too long is better.
