I did the maiden voyage with me,my 14 year old son and brother in law. We had a great time but one thing that drove me nuts was when either of them moved around the boat would list to one side or the other. I saw the smart tabs but I don't think they would work for my issue, or would they? Any thoughts?

depends on the size of the boat. Dealing with weight allocation is just part of running a boat. I can't speak to "smart" tabs for leveling; trim tabs will (or un-level, when you want the boat to list) but I don't think they are worth the cost on a boat under 19' or a small open boat like a jon boat. don't know your boat.

Sorry, i guess more info would been nice. We were cruising anywhere from 25 - 35mph. Our boat is a 20ft stingray cuddy and the hull is about 12ft of the 20ft total length.

Seems strange to me fort a boat that size and weight, did you have the drive trimmed properly?

Well yesterday was a lot of trial and error but I think I figured out where the trim should be, the issue was when my brother in law moved from the rear, behind me to the other side and my son was in the cuddy. It wasn't horrible but very noticeable. I was wondering if those smart tabs would help or not.

It's a boat man. You move weight around and things shift. Especially if we are talking about a large man. Nothing to worry about.

^^^What he said^^^

Having said that, be careful moving around in a small boat under way. One unexpected wake can easily launch the unsuspecting person overboard. ;)
