what to do with old voltage regulator wires

as some of you know i'm rebuilding my 1983 470 i got most of it torn apart, i'm at the old voltage regulator i already have the wires to the stator tapped off but what about the others look at picture. top right red, bottom right orange, bottom left black ground

One thing I would recommend if you aren't going to use the 470's charging system, is to remove the stator completely. You don't need something coming apart and destroying the magnets in the front pulley, or it will be big time out of balance, and could break something else. Just eleminate the stator and be done with it.
Some of the wires off the regulator will be used with your alternator. You need to get your alternator kit first and go by the instructions on what to do with the wires on the new system.

i already did the conversion last year and it workes fine, now that i'm rebuilding i want to know what to do with the remaining wires on the voltage reg. i already pulled the stator off and i'm going to remove the magnets. is removing the magnets a good move

Orange wire, disconnect from starter and regulator. Fold back and tape to wiring harness or cut off both ends. It's no longer needed.
Red/purple wire goes to the circuit breaker. Disconnect at both ends, it too is no longer needed.
The ground and wire stubs can be removed and thrown away.
The regulator is now a hose connector. Could actually be replaced by hose barb fitting.
