What to look for on hull of 1969 starcraft

I have never had an aluminum boat so I am not sure what to look for as far as problems on a boat that is aluminum and this age - it is a 1969 15 foot starcraft. Are there problem areas for aluminum that I should be looking for - like rivets or cracks or whatever......

Look for loose, or missing rivets. Don't worry if it leaks a little though.

Is there an easy fix for loose rivets - can i buy those kind of rivets and a rivet gun and reinstall?

If a rivet is in good shape ....just re-buck the rivet with a hammer and a metal plate or another hammer on the other side.

If you want to use pop rivets ....order the closed end pop rivets...... aluminum 3/16"
