What type of anchor is good for Intercoastal Water Way?

I just purchased and old boat with no anchor. What would be a good style and size for a 16 footer I run predominately in the Intercoastal?

The proper anchor is one that works well with the type of bottom you are trying to anchor up. if the waterway is soft (sand, silt or mud) a 5 lb fluke anchor (3/8" line is best) is tops. If it is hard (rock) you will need a navy-type anchor, with some chain to prevent chafe.
