Does anyone know what manufacturer made this boat? Model # also? It doesn't have a hull ID number, nor a compliance plate or any markings...

Welcome to Iboats! Nice boat, but have not a clue. Reminds me a little of a Starcraft

Does sort of look like an old Starcraft. There's no capacity plate? That will name the manufacturer and sometimes the model. If you can find the hull identification number you may be able to do something with that although I'm not quite sure what.

Like Robby says, it definitely reminds me of a Starcraft too. They made a lot of boats and there are still a lot of them around. There were also a lot of manufacturers who used to make boats like this.

If there is no hull ID it is usually not a US made boat - or it was made in 1971 or earlier. Personally, my guess is that it is not a US made boat.

Looks like a little Steury to me... but it could be almost anything. Possibly a Canadian built Invader?

Original License says that the boat is a Munro

There is a way of determining the manufacturer from the vessel ID (but I can't remember how to look it up).

That's unfortunate that there is not HIN number on the transom. I had a Munro, and have seen a few pics of others but not exactly like yours. They were local to southern Ontario, out of Business in the late 80's.

The HIN number should be moulded in the upper right corner of the transom (by law). Perhaps it has been painted over. Also, did you look up under the splashwell from below? Sometimes the manufacturer will put an additional tag in there as well.

Good luck. Looks like a nice V-shape...should ride well in moderate waves. Expect some water up and over that low cut transom though.

Re: What type of boat is this?

I bought the boat. When I licensed it, the lady told me that the boat was a Munro. Eboylan3 got it right. Any idea on what model it might be? again this is only curiosity. I just need to adjust the bunks so it sits properly on the trailer, then my Merc 1500 goes on. Should be fun. Plan to use it Trolling Lake Ontario for salmon. AMD Rules we are practically neighbors...
