what type of gasket sealer to use?

well i got my new water pump in (remanufactured one, aq125 a engine). got the old one takin off, was fairly simple. now im ready to put the new gasket on an bolt on.

But, i'm worndering what type of gasket sealer to use?

i have two types on hand, 1st. prime seal type 3 avaition brush on non-hardning.......
and the 2nd. one i have is a tube of permatex* ultra copper high temp RTV silicone gasket maker. any input on what one i should use...

the avation type i thinks works good. but im thinking it won't do well with heat. its non hardning an thinner. so would the heat break it down, or thin it out more..??
