What type of ladder works best for 1970s Starcraft SuperSport

I have a 1970s Starcraft SuperSport. I have been using one of those white ladders with the hooks on top. I find the thing flimsy and awkward to get back into the boat with it. Does anyone have any experience with ladders? What would work best for this type of boat?

I use a ladder that I hang off the side of the boat with hooks......... I just have not gotten around to putting on a small swim platform ladder on the stern. I am actually happy with my set up.

This was discussed a while back in the Starcraft section, might give you a few ideas.

Tried an old 3 step ladder on a 21' Mariner and it was terrible.
