I have a 17' KMV center console fiberglass boat. I am not sure how much it would weigh. The old motor was a 1987 90hp Johnson with a top RPM around 5300. I have repowered with a 2002 75hp Mercury 4 stroke. The motor is not yet installed on the boat and it doesn't come with a prop so I am trying to figure out what I should be using.

I think a 17"aluminum prop is a good place to start.Don't worry about diameter. If intended for your motor it will be right.
We'll need base line performance numbers with a description of the performance.wot rpm and gps speed.
