What Yamaha Prop

I have a 90HP 1986 yamaha outboard and need a new prop. It is on a 17.5 ft fish and ski procraft. What size and prop should I get? Best all around usage?

What size and make prop do you currently have, and what is your rpm and speed numbers?

Normal for a 90HP Yamaha on a 17' boat would be something like a 13 1/4x17"

Is the prop white painted aluminum?

If the prop you got now is all torn up and corroded, just swapping to a new "oem-style" aluminum prop should give you a nice improvement in performance. You can buy one here at iboats for less than $100.

What rpm and speed are you doing?

Ayuh,....

Have you taken the prop Off,+ Looked,..??..??

The #s are usually Under the Prop Nut....

But on a 20 years old aluminum prop, those numbers can be hard to read sometimes...
