What year 15 foot MFG Caprice Model 15 O/B

My neighbor gave me a 15 foot MFG Caprice Model 15 O/B, and I'm trying to find out what year(s) the boat was built. Also, I am trying to find where the Hull VIN is? Thanks.

If there Is 1, it'll be On the top of the transom, Somewhere between the Center,+ the Starboard side...........<br /><br />If Not, You may want to wander over to Fiberclassics,+ poke around to see if you can find anything.........<br /> Fiberclassics <br />Good Luck............

HBF4, I own a 15' Caprice. Don't know if its the same as yours or not. Center Console skiff type. Manufactured by Riviera Fiberglass Corp. Out of business I think.

Hi HBF4,<br /><br />And congratulations on your MFG acquisition! MFG built boats from the 50's through the 80's. A good place to do some research and ask questions is MFG Website <br /><br />Be sure to check out the "Brochures" section and browse the brochures to determine what year you have. Generally MFG put its plate on the port side of the transom, and depending on the year, may or may not have a hull id number.<br /><br />So what condition is the boat in? boats are still being built. riviera fiber corp. 1040 w 15th. street. riviera beach fl. 33404. just had one built and picked it up thanksgiving day. like the hull design, good for shallow waters. 2 man operation, john (hans)and wife erline ratz. phone is 561-848-5355 i am sure they will be happy to give you information. regards fred.
