What Year Is It......

This motor has been in my father in laws family for a long time and he doesnt quite remeber what the year of it is. The model number on the motor is MO-13M has a serial number of J2727994 Would like to get a repair manual for it due to the fact that we took it out today and it would not open up to full throttle. At first it wouldnt then it did then it wont. Runs fine but no full throttle. Thanks In advance. Greg

Hi, Grog.<br /><br />Is the make of this engine some big secret?<br /><br />The style of the model number, MO-13, sounds like a Johnson, but there is no MO-13 listed.<br /><br />There is a MQ-13, which is a 1967 9.5hp.<br /><br />Good luck.

Sorry about that JB. Yes it is a Johnson i must have not been able to see the little line on the Q. Are there parts that would be readily available for a motor of this age. Thanks Greg
