WHAT YEAR IS IT????????

Hey fellow boaters !!!!!!! I'm hoping you can help me identify the year of my 70HP Johnson. There are a few numbers listed on the block. Here they are.... 3298234 G, this is listed just above the middle spark plug. 334474, this is listed on the side of the block. What year is it, and what do these number represent????? Thanks for the help!!

reel look on the motor and you will find a Welsh plug will be shiny and about the size of a quarter and will have model # and serial #.<br />we need this to identify your unit<br /><br />

Reel 'Em In:<br /><br />Ditto to bubbakat's answer. Sounds like the numbers you are giving us are part numbers for those specific parts they are stamped on.
