What year is my 3.0?

Well I just purchased a 2001 Wellcraft 175ss with a volvo penta 3.0l. After some research I seem to notice that most '01 boats didn't have a serpentine belt set up like mine does and also the engine seems to have red paint showing through the gray. Red seems to be a newer engine color. Going to need to order an exhaust manifold and riser and wanna make sure I get the correct part. So what stamping could tell me the engine year and model?

Write the manufacturer with the hull # and they can give you all the info on when it was made and what was put in.
