What year is my Australian 115 -6cyl Mercury?

Hi clever people.
Can someone help me with identifying what year my outboard is that i got with a boat.

my sn is 8020907
it says on the cover 115 direct. and has carbys.


I looked around but seems the sn doesn't fit in with anything, probably because its a Australian model.

I was not able to ffine your ser number is there something you need a picture would be help one of ser number one of hole motor

My boat would not be running if it was not for all the post I have read in the last year I got my boat from boat angles for $235.00 it's a 1983 Astroglass 17.5 with Murcury 115 inline 6 I worked on it for 7 months , replaced floor and repaired motor which sat for over 8years
Ihave been disable for 14years and ill most of the time. So I can set here and read post sorry you think how you but I'm just trying to pay for all the help I have got from Iboat. by the way I have only been able to run my boat one time in A year
