I have a Sear's 12 foot semi-v aluminum boat, model # 581-60122-0, serial # IS31F2608 can anyone tell me the year. I think its going to fall in the 1960s, thanks.
Probably the best source for that information would be Sears. The earlier model boats of most companies did not contain the year manufactured in the serial number but....since it was Sears they may have a record.
I don't have any paperwork, other than a bill of sale.
I will stop by Sear's and ask, but they don't sell boats at ours, and are most likely to not want to waste their time on digging,. I have searched the net for a way to cross reference the serial number and year but Sears has nothing up.
