What year is my Mariner?

New to me, 15 Mariner - OC 131054.
Just purchased it from a reseller. No known history, what all should I check before using.
It is still well below freezing here in Maine, and my garage is unheated so I am thinking of waiting till spring to start it up.
Is there a model specific repair manual you would recommend?

I also recently purchased a 30 hp Mariner. My buddy and I tested it in a water barrel and it starts/runs fine. I would like to find out what year it is. Ser 329334 Model 30ML Long Shaft Code 689L. (Built in Japan). Can you or anyone else help?
