what year is my merc

Hi All

Can anyone tell me for sure what year my engine is I have looked at all the
links and sites that give you the serials but I cant seem to find mine .
I need to get a part for my outboard but I need to know the year first.
The serial is 9300005.

Sorry it is an 80hp 4 cylinder.

The books seem incomplete as far as the early 80s the engine was built after 1981 and before 1984 is as close as I can come. Hopefully someone can come closer.

Sorry to be a pain but going on the guess that my outboard is between
81 and 84 can anyone tell me what part number I need for a fuel pump kit.

Looks like they have a check valve kit and a diaphram kit.
