What year is my Merc?

I have a Mercury 80 with trim and tilt. The Serial No. is 5142886. Any help with the year and parts sources would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

That would be a 1979 engine (4 cylinder). <br />There's lots of places online that can get you parts (dougrussel.com has parts breakdowns). Napa can get you common parts like impellers and gaskets. Any mercury dealer should be able to get you just about anything for that engine.<br /><br />Good luck!
