what year is my mercury 7.5 hp, s/n 6467028?

All my internet searches have been unsuccesful to determine the model of my mercury 7.5 hp outboard, serial number 6467028. <br />I am looking for assistance from some of you guys with some advanced technical knoledge.

Rick,<br />Thank you for your prompt reply.<br />I have taken the boat + new used motor for 1st time with my little son. The merc 7.5hp started well and worked for about 10 min, then stopped. I could not restart it as the cord seems to be stuck. It moves about 2" and would not move any further. Any idea about this issue?

I am sorry to ask the same question but as I can not find any info on the web for a mercury 7.5hp motor with the serial number of 3805896. I do need your help. Thanks
