What year is my motor and having fire problems?

Hi All, I'm having starting problems with my motor.It turns over great but has no fire at the plugs (all 4 of them).I checked the fuse on the side of the motor and it's good,don't know what to check next.I was told when I bought the boat the motor was a 96.I believe the S.# is 09682784 from what I can make of it.Thanks in advance all.Here is a pic. of the motor.

The second digit has got to be a letter and that will let us tell you the year, The ign is alternator driven and does not use any 12 volt power, you need to start by diconnecting the blk/yellow wire at the switch box to see if the problem is in the wiring or the engine--Bob

Bob,The second digit from what I can see looks like a 9 unless it's an s.The tag also says Marine Power Europe A Division of Brunswick s.a. B4822 Verviers made in Belgium if that helps any.Here's a pic of the tag on the motor.

So I take it nobody knows the year of this motor.
