Hi Guys i just bought a used 20hp johnson outboard and have no idea what year it is?
model# CJ20CR05 any ideas thanks

Nope, it's in the CR.

C - Canada
J - Johnson
20 - HP
CR - 1984
05 - Factory code (means nothing to the end user)
