So i recently bought this boat and i have no idea what year it is, From what we have gathered its a Winner Cobra, its roughly 16' foot long, but as far as the year im stumped. I have a serial number that is imprinted on the back of the boat but my search has turned up nothing. If anyone has better luck ill throw up a picture and the serial.
Serial # is 701536 WH

You can look through the brochures HERE and see if you can match it up. I'd look in the mid-60's literature.

I had a '67 that looked like that, except for the windshield. My windshield was wrap around plastic. Maybe your boat is a couple of years newer? The boat weighed maybe 250#. Real light

The motor is right around 1970 in vintage.

Not sure if they put the year of the boat in the serial number back then, but if they did, boat looks to be 1970.

Re: What year is my Winner?

Boat would be a 1970. If memory serves (haha), back then the first two numbers of the serial number on the back of the boat are the year. I'm half guessing but I think in 1979 they changed the order so that the last 2 digits indicate the year. Congrats on getting a Winner, these are pretty darn good long lasting boats!
