what year is this evinrude

I'm new at this stuff so just excuse the mistakes. I have a 40 evinrude lark 2 with serial #50557 and model #35520. i don't know much about outboard motors but i was woundering where i could get a manual for it and what year it is. i never tried to get it running yet but will most likely have more questions when i do.
