what year is this

I have a sears 12 hp outboard mod # 571 58931 does any one know what year it is? I am also looking for the two coils they were made by wico # X11406. I checked with sears parts but didn't get much help.

Hi Scooter<br />Check the model# you have posted. I can't seem to find that one. You have a 12hp motor made by West Bend for Sears to sell under their Elgin brand name. Near as I can tell it was made in the late 50's, 57-59. The closest number I have is 571 8941 a 1957 model.

I have checked the model # again it does seem to be the correct one 571 58931 ser # 931 2044 <br /> thanks for the help so far!

I found a 5893 58 12 hp.<br />built by West Bend.
