What year Johnson 15hp Eng Cover will fit my 15A motor?

Hello All,

Does anybody know what years the Johnson 15hp fishing motor engine covers will fit the 15A motors used in the APBA Stock Outboard Racing? If you know exactly what years are legal that would be a bonus but I am also interesed in knowing what the full scope of fitment are.

I lost one to Davy Jones last week and see an earlier year model cover for sale for a real good price and it it fits, it may be my best choice unitill I find a 'legal' one.

hey Raymond,
I do not know if you bought cover on ebay.
But my husband lost his towing his boat.
(15hp johnson cover for a 1985 motor)
Keep my email if you find what you really need and want to sell that cover.
We live in Michigan too.
