Just picked up a Johnson 50 hp VRO<br />Model #: J50BELCUD<br />SER#: 7430332 (I think this number may have a G in front of it???)<br /><br />Anyways it is a 50HP motor with Tilt and Trim (Prestolite aftermarket unit?) eclec start remote steer and control. I want to diconect the VRO but I am guessing that topic is already covered on the board somewhere. Other than that it looks like a good engine....very excited.<br />TH

That's a 1987 model ya got there...Plenty of reading on VRO. Just go to the red search button above and put in VRO...<br /><br />Matter of fact:<br /><br /> VRO disconnect

Sweet. the guy I bought it from thought it was a late 70s model but i figured it was in the 80's somewhere....score! I will follow through with the disconnect on the VRO...any info on that alum aftermarket tilt and trim?
