What year is and size hp is my boat...

So I have a 1978 ranger 17.5" bass boat that says evinrude electric shift on the throttle lever, it says 115hp on the motor cover, its a v4 with sparkplugs that match a 115hp motor, the power tilt model number stamp says e75tlcrd so from a 75hp from 1984 and is cast with a 3cyl in it so it does not mach my v4.... my flywheel says 1969 v-4 and there is not a stamp for year or model on the powerhead that i can find. its missing the air silencer but if installed the air would enter almost under the flywheel not the sides like some models. still has 120-125psi per cylinder and has run great minus the starter is very week and had a acceration spudder last time out.the impeller is at least 3+ years old becuase the last owner said he never changed it. and I have ran it 6 days at the lake last month alone.... and figure i should do a decab, spark plugs, lower oil, new impeller, starter, and if i must the carbs... BUT need to order parts for the correct year
thanks in advance Adam

model identification 2.jpgThe factory parts catalog website may help you. It shows all models back to 1968. It's easy to compare parts. It's on the web at: epc.brp.com. If you have the information from the core plug on the top of the block, the model number will match up with the model numbers in the parts lists. Hopefully the core plug serial number info will match the information on the transom bracket. Attached is a typical core plug with serial and model number.
