what year of johnson?

i have a johnson super sea horse 40 hp and am not sure of the year. the numbers I have been able to locate are 307770 and 307759 & 307806 AC. the last two are located near the spark plugs. any help would be appreciated.

Look at one of the freeze plugs on the powerhead. It should reveal the original serial number of the motor. Then RePost your finding or do a search using the original serial numbers. I have some books and microphice and may be able to help. Good Luck!
